1. Your agreement

These terms govern your use of DaysRemain, operated by the person or entity identified below. By accepting these terms when creating an account or sharing content, you agree to them and the community guidelines. The privacy policy explains how information is processed.

You must be able to enter a binding agreement under local law, or have the involvement of a parent or guardian where legally permitted. The service is not directed to children under 13.

2. The service and your account

DaysRemain provides event discovery, countdowns, local dashboards, cards, video recording, sharing, and reminders. Current features are free; there is no paid subscription, trial, or automatic renewal. Creation and other network features have security checks and usage limits. Optional accounts use Supabase authentication. Keep credentials secure, provide accurate information, and contact support about unauthorized use. Dashboard data currently remains in this browser even when you sign in.

We may change features or suspend access for misuse, legal requirements, or security needs. Where appropriate and lawful, we will provide notice and a way to raise concerns. You may stop using the service at any time and use account and data controls.

3. Your content and sharing

You retain ownership of your content and are responsible for having the rights and permissions needed to use and share it. You grant the operator a non-exclusive license limited to hosting, displaying, transmitting, and moderating content as needed to provide the features you request. This does not give us ownership of your photos or recordings.

Shared countdowns are readable by anyone with the link. Do not put private, sensitive, confidential, or unauthorized third-party information in a shared title. Personal photos, videos, diaries, and card drafts are processed locally unless you independently share an export. Removing a dashboard shortcut or deleting an account does not revoke guest countdown links. Copies already downloaded or shared cannot be recalled.

4. Acceptable use and moderation

Do not create or share illegal material, child sexual abuse or exploitation content, threats, terrorist content, hate speech, harassment, bullying, non-consensual intimate material, fraud, spam, impersonation, infringement, or another person’s private information. Do not bypass verification, scrape restricted data, distribute malware, misuse uploads, or interfere with the service.

Use the report control on a shared personal countdown or contact support with its link. We can restrict or remove content and respond to lawful requests. The community guidelines explain reporting and review. Security filters reduce misuse but cannot guarantee that all harmful content is detected.

5. Intellectual property and third parties

DaysRemain’s software, branding, and original designs remain the property of their respective owners. You receive a limited permission to use them through the service. You may use your exported cards and recordings subject to the rights in their underlying content. Event names, logos, and external materials belong to their owners; listing an event does not imply endorsement or affiliation.

External websites, calendars, sharing destinations, hosting, verification, and authentication services have their own terms. Review their policies when you use them. Report alleged infringement through support with the affected link, your contact details, a description of your rights, and a good-faith explanation.

6. Accuracy and availability

Dates can change and timezone calculations, educational facts, and AI-generated facts can be inaccurate. Verify important details with the event organizer. Reminders depend on browser permission and the app being open. Countdowns and reminders should not be relied on for medical treatment, emergencies, legal deadlines, or other critical decisions. Local data can be lost when site data is cleared; keep copies of information you need.

7. Warranties, liability, and consumer rights

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is supplied on an “as available” basis without a promise of uninterrupted operation or complete accuracy. To that same extent, the operator is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including applicable liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, gross negligence, or death or personal injury. Mandatory consumer rights, statutory warranties, and remedies remain in force.

Mandatory laws and consumer protections in your place of residence continue to apply. These terms do not impose a foreign exclusive court, forced arbitration, or a waiver of rights you cannot legally waive.

8. App stores and future purchases

If distributed through Apple or Google, the applicable store’s usage rules also apply. Apple and Google do not operate DaysRemain or provide its support. The current website does not sell digital purchases. Any future purchase must display its price, payment terms, renewal and cancellation rules before you buy and comply with the applicable store’s billing requirements. If Apple’s standard EULA is selected for an iOS release, its license terms will also be available from the store listing.

9. Changes and contact

The date above identifies this version. Material changes will receive appropriate notice; where required, we will ask you to accept the revised terms. Contact the operator through support for questions, complaints, or review of moderation decisions.
